I would tell you that I don’t have an artistic bone in my body, but upon taking my first stained glass class in 2017, I fell in love with the medium. After my first fused glass class I knew glassart was something I wanted to explore further. I started in our basement and now have a light filled studio on our farm in Greenwood, VA.
I love both intentional and unintentional glass design. Melts fascinate me and I enjoy experimenting with the technique. I am also inspired by quilting and geometric design. Incorporating these techniques into garden art is my favorite, as glass is at its most beautiful when the sun shines through.
I have always loved fashion, interior decorating and color. Glass is a beautiful way to explore color combinations along with pattern and design.
